Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhyme-Snow White

Well, this was very challenging. I'm not really sure if I got this right or not. It started out as a spread (I think) and ended up looking more like a cover. Oh well...
I tried to make the Queen not just intimidating, but also slightly babelicious.
I hope I succeeded in my interpretation.
This is the part I chose to illustrate:

Then suddenly, one awful day,
She heard the Magic Mirror say,
'From now on, Queen, you're Number Two.
Snow-White is prettier than you!'
The Queen went absolutely wild.
She yelled, 'I'm going to scrag that child!
'I'll cook her flaming goose! I'll skin'er!
'I'll have her rotten guts for dinner!'
She called the Huntsman to her study.
She shouted at him, 'Listen buddy!'
'You drag that filthy girl outside,
'and see that you take her for a ride!
'Thereafter slit her ribs apart
'And bring me back her bleeding heart!'

Have a great day, all.

Oh Dear Sweet Delores, your illustration is just Marvelous my dear. How very exciting this illustration is. You have wonderful interaction going on which is so very important. Lady Nectar wants to hear what that nasty little queen is say to the king. She may be giving him a good one!!! hee hee hee hee. It's beautiful. I will say, your type could be a tad bit Larger so it will stand out more for your Cover. Don't be afraid to play with that. Sometimes to over size the font works as graphic art which is very important. You want people to see the title. Your characters are divine. Great job and 3 quacks to you!!!! Oh there look I made a funny darling, hee he hee hee! Have a Ducky weekend.
Sincerely
Lady Good Nectar

Oh, Lady Good Nectar. Thank you so much for the kind words. You have no idea how much they inspire me.

I think you're right about the font, I like it but it could be much larger.

Thanks again and you have a wonderful day, my Lady.
